Cortizo Isolation
A roller shutter box designed for Cortizo PVC windows

The Cortizo Isolation roller shutter box complements Cortizo PVC windows with insulation designed to continue across the whole opening.

Two sizes with different reference values

The 200 mmversion quotes thermal transmittance fromUsb 0.66 W/m²K, while the 160 mmversion quotes acoustic insulation up to47 dB. Both have reference E2400 watertightnessandP3 wind resistance. Compare the complete test assemblies rather than combining the best figures into one assumed configuration.

Box and window designed to work together

Cortizo Isolation is intended for compatible A 70, A 78 and A 84 assemblies. Its connection profiles join the box and window within the system.

Available space, shutter height and the chosen window determine which 160 or 200 mm assembly is suitable. We check these dimensions when measuring.

Consider the complete opening’s insulation

A highly insulating window also needs a suitable shutter box and perimeter installation. Cortizo Isolation has reference air permeability Class 4andE2400 watertightness, making it an option to assess alongside efficient windows such as Cortizo A 84. The manufacturer’s test values are non-contractual references.

</details>

Common questions
Frequently asked questions

Can Cortizo Isolation be used with VEKA windows?

It is designed for Cortizo PVC systems. For a VEKA assembly, we assess compatible alternatives such as Vekavariant 2.0 or Eurostar.

</details>
Which Cortizo Isolation size does my opening need?

It depends on shutter height, the rolled curtain and the available space. We calculate the assembly during measurement and compare the insulation values of the appropriate version.

</details>
Can Cortizo Isolation be specified with a motorised shutter?

Yes. A compatible motor and controls can be included as an option in the quote.

</details>
Does Cortizo Isolation provide access for maintenance?

Yes. The box includes an access cover for servicing the shutter mechanism.

</details>
