Sliding and lift-and-slide PVC doors
Connect your living room, terrace or garden with a horizontal opening. Choose from in-line, high-performance or lift-and-slide systems.
Each system suits a different opening
Opening size, exposure to wind and rain, frequency of use and insulation needs determine the right system.
We match the system to the opening and the performance required, rather than recommending the same sliding door for every project.
We also assess the number of leaves, fixed panels, opening direction, threshold and accessibility.

Decisions that change the outcome
A sliding door must be designed as a complete assembly. Tip: the larger the opening, the more important it is to check permitted dimensions, glazing weight and installation requirements for the exact configuration.
- Useful space for opening and distributing sash
- Weight and composition of glazing
- Height of threshold and accessibility needs
- Exposure, drainage and perimeter sealing

Sliding PVC doors connect your living room, terrace or garden without a swinging leaf occupying the room. The right system depends on dimensions, exposure and required insulation.
Choosing the sliding mechanism
Conventional in-line sliding suits compact openings. High-performance systems improve sealing, while lift-and-slide doors raise the leaf for movement and lower it onto its seals when closed.

Thresholds and large glazing
An accessible threshold needs suitable levels, support, drainage and sealing. Large glazed leaves require careful checks of glass weight, hardware and installation conditions.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between sliding and lift-and-slide?
A conventional sliding leaf runs along tracks. A lift-and-slide leaf rises when you turn the handle and lowers onto its seals when closed.
Can a sliding PVC door have an accessible threshold?
Yes, where the system and installation permit. We assess floor levels, support and drainage before confirming.
Can sliding PVC doors have roller shutters?
Yes. We assess the available height and suitable shutter-box configuration during measurement.
