Tilt-and-slide and folding PVC doors
Custom solutions for wide openings and complex spaces, with careful checks of dimensions, weights, hardware and intended use.
Tilt-and-slide or folding

Tilt-and-slide
Tilt the leaf for ventilation, then move it away from the frame to slide in parallel. Compression seals without the swing space of a hinged door, suitable for terrace enclosures.

Folding
Linked leaves fold to one side to clear almost the entire opening, without fixed panels or intermediate posts. Choose 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 elements, subject to dimensions and weights.

Then we talk about design.
Profile and hardware limits are decisive for these doors. We confirm a solution only after checking all constraints; these openings are not suitable for every size or location.
- Total dimensions and distribution of sash
- Weight of glass or panel per sash
- Space for collection, maneuver and passage
- Outdoor exposure, threshold and frequency of use
So we study a special door.
Measured
We check gaps, levels, supports and routes available.
Calculation
We check leaf numbers, weights and hardware compatibility.
Defining
We choose profile, glass, threshold, color and sense of collection.
We regulate
After installation, we adjust the leaves and test every opening movement.
Profiles that support these openings
Special doors we've solved
Folding and tilt-and-slide PVC doors
When a conventional sliding door does not open widely enough or a hinged door needs too much clearance, consider folding PVC doors or tilt-and-slide doors.
Folding PVC enclosures
Linked leaves stack like an accordion to one side, clearing most of the opening without intermediate fixed posts. They suit porches, garden-facing rooms and terrace enclosures. Layouts can have 3 to 7 leaves, subject to dimensions and weights.
Tilt-and-slide doors
The leaf tilts for ventilation, then moves away from the frame and slides parallel to it. This combines a space-saving opening with compression sealing.

When to choose folding doors
Folding doors can link a kitchen and terrace, living room and porch, or commercial premises and the street. We check weights, hardware, support and threshold requirements before confirming a custom layout.
Frequently asked questions
Are folding PVC doors weather-resistant?
They use hinged-system profiles and close against seals. Performance and feasibility depend on leaf dimensions, weights and the complete configuration.
Do folding doors require a special floor?
They need level support and a suitable threshold. We check these during measurement before confirming the solution.
What is a tilt-and-slide door?
A door that can tilt for ventilation, then move slightly away from the frame and slide parallel to it. It saves swing space while retaining compression sealing.
How many leaves can a folding door have?
The layout depends on opening width and leaf weights. We recommend the arrangement that fits your space and the system limits.
Do you have a hard opening to solve?
Send us measurements and photos or request a visit. We will tell you what opening is feasible before talking about finishes.
