A material that can be shaped
PVC is a thermoplastic material that can be shaped into curves and angled assemblies. This allows us to create windows for unusual openings while retaining the insulation and straightforward maintenance of the chosen PVC system. Each design must meet the manufacturing limits of the profile, glazing and hardware.
- Measure the actual geometry of the opening
- Confirm technical feasibility before preparing the quote
- Choose VEKA Softline or Cortizo profiles to suit the shape and use

Not every opening is rectangular. PVC systems can accommodate arches, angles and irregular layouts when dimensions, supports and installation conditions are assessed carefully.
Examples of custom work
- Curved windows with semicircular arches and curved assemblies.
- Curved enclosures connecting a kitchen and terrace.
- Glazed roofs with PVC frames and roof glazing for masonry pergolas.
- Enclosures with reverse corner joints and complex opening geometry.
Assess the geometry first
We measure the actual openingand prepare templates where necessary. Before quoting, we check thetechnical feasibility of the radii, weights and opening types. This helps avoid problems during manufacture and installation.

From drawing to installation
An unusual shape needs accurate dimensions, diagonals and angles. We check the limits of the profile and glazing and explain the proposed assembly before manufacturing it.

Complex terrace enclosures
Custom work also includes connections to pillars, corner assemblies and combinations of fixed and sliding glazing within the same opening. The supports and joints need to be assessed as carefully as the window system. Read about PVC enclosures or tell us about your project.
Frequently asked questions
Does a specially shaped window cost more than a rectangular one?
It generally requires more measurement and manufacturing work. We provide a specific quote once the geometry and technical feasibility have been checked.
Can specially shaped PVC windows have coloured finishes?
Many special shapes can use the same finishes as rectangular windows. We confirm availability and feasibility for the radius or angles of your design.
How does an unusual shape affect window insulation?
Specially shaped windows use the profiles and glazing of the chosen system. Final performance still depends on the dimensions, opening type, hardware and installation; we assess these for each project.
Do you visit before quoting for an unusual opening?
A measurement visit is important for these projects because we need the actual angles, diagonals and installation conditions.
Do you need a window for an unusual opening?
Send us photos and approximate measurements or request a visit. We will explain which solutions are feasible, with no obligation.
