Alcover can help coordinate a PVC window with aluminium façade elements, glazing or composite panels. In renovation, it offers a different exterior finish while retaining the underlying PVC assembly. Balcony doors in the same range and a compatible Cortizo Isolation shutter box can be considered as part of the opening.

How do Alcover and AluConnect differ?
Alcover uses a 75 mm PVC frame with clip-on aluminium cladding. AluConnect uses an 82 mm system with a central seal. We show you the assemblies and compare their specific options in the showroom.
Can Alcover cladding be fitted to any existing PVC window?
No. Alcover is a Cortizo system intended for compatible PVC profiles. Compatibility needs to be checked rather than treating it as a universal retrofit. VEKA AluConnect is a separate alternative system.
Which exterior finishes are available for Alcover?
The aluminium cladding is available in different finishes. We show you the available samples and confirm the finish for your order.
Does Alcover’s cladding add weight to the window?
It adds some weight, which is accounted for within the system’s design. The complete sash must stay within the specified size and weight limits for its hardware.
